Director of Engineering & Digital Experience - London £120,000 - £160,000 + Benefits Director of Engineering & Digital Experience - London My client is one of the fastest growing multichannel brands of all time. We're looking for a Director of Engineering & Digital Experience to join their technology leadership team to have ownership and accountability across Engineering, Design and Product as the business continues to scale at a tremendous speed. You'll be responsible for leading and managing the digital teams across Engineering, Product & Design with a heavy focus on Engineering. You'll be shaping the future direction of the business ensuring that the technology team enables to business to rapidly scale within the digital domain both in the UK & internationally. You'll work closely with Head of departments across Engineering, Product and Design to shape the technology roadmap and ensure all disciplines are pulling in the same direction, continuing to create and scale their digital platforms ensuring that the needs of the customer remain at the heart of everything your teams are working towards. You'll be a passionate leader, responsible for mentoring and developing the careers of those within your team and care deeply about their success. In an ideal world you'll have come from an Engineering Management background and be comfortable running the day to day processes that come with multiple squads and be able to coach and advise on industry best practice. Leading teams of 30-50 would be ideal. Technically whilst you won't be expected to "roll up your sleeves" you should be able to discuss complex technical concepts such as API Design, Architectural patterns etc. Experience working in a fast paced B2C environment or retailer would be highly beneficial. Ideally you'll have a proven track record of scaling a platform or product and have an appreciation of what may possible for future iterations of the platform. £120,000 - £160,000 + Benefits Director of Engineering & Digital Experience - London
