Job Description
On behalf of my client we are recruiting for a Deputy Children's Home Manager to join their organisation within the Burscough area. You must have previous experience working with children with emotional and behavioural needs.You must ideally have your QCF Level 3 in children & young adults and have at least 2 years experience caring for children with EBD. Experience of working within residential settings. Shift Leading/Management Experience You will be required to create care plans and assessments. Rotas and staff management. Deputising in absence of the manager. Caring for and assisting children in their everyday lives. Carrying out tasks such as cooking, cleaning laundry, shopping. Taking responsibility for the implementation of the individual placement plans for the children by staff and other professionals. Safeguarding the young people in your care. Shift Leading. Supervision of Residential Support Workers Ensuring reports are completed in a timely fashion. Dealing with the On Call if needed. The salary is £28,000.
