Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust ,
London, Greater London

Overview

Job Description

Our Organisation As a community trust, the vast majority of our care is provided one-to-one by clinical staff working in patients' homes or from local clinics, backed up by all our essential support teams. Our strong performance is a credit to our excellent workforce. Their continued commitment to delivering great care for all our patients is what makes Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust such a well-performing trust. Every day, our professionals provide high-quality healthcare in people's homes and local clinics, helping them to stay well, manage their own health with the right support and avoid unnecessary trips to, or long stays in hospital. We support our patients at every stage of their lives; providing health visiting for new-born babies through to community nursing, stroke rehabilitation and palliative care for people towards the end of their lives. Fulfil your potential and make a difference at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Help us overcome the greatest challenge the NHS has seen in a generation by joining our HR team. Our HR team underpins all of our Trust's activities and enables our staff to perform at their best. We know that to provide the best care to our patients, we must look after our staff. We understand the moments that matter to our staff - every day, every week, every year - and we work hard to ensure all our staff are supported. By caring for our staff and making CLCH a great place to work, we contribute to the health of our patients and our overall success. HR Operating Model We seek to implement an HR operating model of four complementary areas of expertise, including a team of HR Business Partners and Advisors, an HR Operations team, and three centres of expertise: People Analytics, Employee Relations, and Organisational Development and Culture, all underpinned by a greater level of self-service capability for line managers and improved technology and systems. HR transformation CLCH is at the forefront of HR innovation, and we want to create a team with the right skills to make CLCH one of the leading employers in the country. Building on our new People Strategy, we are starting to implement a large HR transformation programme that will enact our vision for HR and people engagement. This is an opportunity for an excellent HR professional to be an integral part of taking a well-performing Trust to 'Outstanding' by driving strategic and operational excellence. We have developed this programme in partnership with our key users, line managers and staff, who are all excited of the prospect of a new operating model. The transformation focuses on new ways to support line managers in building and managing effective teams and to enable staff to be at their best, improving the quality of care they can deliver. Overall, we are working to better help our staff at every point in their employee journey through improvements in recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, understanding of benefits and rewards, and individual and team performance management. This provides unique opportunity for ambitious and dynamic individuals keen to make an impact and develop their HR skillset. If successful, you will become part of the core team shaping the strategic and operational direction of a large organisation and making direct impact on our staff and our patients. You will begin your role in the 'spotlight', working with senior leadership on this vital long-term priority. Our HR structure provides excellent career opportunities: with clear paths for career progression within our team, with rotational schemes available to HR team members to allow them to expand their skill-sets, all supported by a new learning and people development programme for HR staff as well as line managers, to be rolled out in the next year. You could additionally be supported by education and training opportunities offered by the CLCH Academy. We are dedicated to treating our staff the way we treat our patients. To foster and care for relationships throughout employees' time with CLCH. To build an organisation where everyone cares about the moments that matter to staff. The HR Business Partners are our customer-facing side of the HR department and provide support, guidance and leadership to divisions. You will focus primarily on transformational activities and change management processes, and supporting divisions with a range of activities including development of strategic people interventions and assisting implementation or training and coaching. Our dynamic new structure provides HR Business Partners with opportunities for career progression. The post requires some travel across all Trust's sites; however we have flexible working policy and encourage the use of digital technology such as MS Teams. The base for the posts will either be agreed with the successful candidate. Employment Type: FULL_TIME
