We are excited to be able to offer and welcome applications for a full time substantive post of a Plastic's Specialist Nurse Practitioner based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. This post is a new appointment to the service. The post will be responsible for the pathway of care for all Plastic patients, attending morning handover meetings and ward rounds, ensuring patients are fully optimized prior to surgery, be responsible for data entry onto trust and external databases, work effectively and resourcefully by coordinating the clinical care of the patient and implementing clinical decisions made by the consultant, deliver nurse led follow-up clinics and act as an interface between members of the MDT. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to lead and innovate the Plastic service provision. You will need the ability to work autonomously with good organizational skills and be able manage your time effectively.
