Job Title Senior Surveyor Job Description Summary Job Description Senior Surveyor Location: Birmingham We have an opportunity for a qualified Senior Surveyor to come and join our Asset Services team in Birmingham. Asset Services is beyond just managing a building. It's about creating and enhancing the experience of those who use and interact both in and around it. What is key and crucial for someone joining this team is someone who can unlock the buildings potential, understanding the owners and investment managers short and long-term goals, and also working with the occupiers and customers' to really understand their requirements and aspirations. We have a successful and supportive team, this role will see you manage a variety of clients and their multi-let property portfolio, ranging from retail, office and industrial use properties. You will be her to deliver well-managed, cost-effective management of client properties in accordance with legislation and industry-leading practices. Coordinate activity between the client and tenants and ensure compliance under the terms of the occupational leases, and enhance the value of the asset through a structured programme of maintenance and development. The ideal person will be a relationship builder and someone who sees the bigger picture and can add value and growth to our client's portfolios. This is also about working in partnership with onsite management teams and our internal regional facilities teams, to do the best for our clients. Key skills: Ability to deliver high quality reports and analysis Self-motivated Commercial awareness from qualification and/or experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to incorporate all available resources to deliver the service and resolve problems as a team Good working knowledge of H&S regulations Knowledge & experience Property management experience essential Specialist knowledge as applicable; retail, single and multi-tenancy, investment portfolios and "trophy" buildings Experience of managing property portfolios desirable Qualifications RICS or equivalent level Property Management qualification desirable Cushman & Wakefield provides equal employment opportunity.
