Job Description
Emerging Markets Sales Engineering: Senior PKI Sales Engineer JOB DESCRIPTION Manage the technical aspects of DigiCert & QuoVadis solutions delivery during pre-sales, on-boarding, and post-sales activities. RESPONSIBILITIES * Demonstrate a deep technical understanding of DigiCert & QuoVadis solutions & architecture * Work independently and in conjunction with other members of the sales team * Facilitate technical evaluations of customer engagements * Assist in the response to functional and technical elements of RFPs/RFIs * Provide demonstrations of DigiCert & QuoVadis solutions and services to key prospects/customers across Europe with a focus on Switzerland (the primary place of work is St. Gallen) * Analyze customer specifications and architect/develop potential solutions based on DigiCert & QuoVadis solutions and services * Capture feature request input from prospects/customers to provide to Product Management teams * Effectively manage projects through planning, tracking and reporting * Provide training and documents to DigiCert & QuoVadis staff regarding product offerings and solutions * Present on technical topics at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc. * Travel to customer sites and industry forums/conferences across Europe as needed to support the objectives of the department REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Higher learning degree in systems management, computer science, cyber security, or CISSP certification or 5+ years of experience in cyber security with emphasis on PKI. * Fluent in writing and speaking English and German * Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills * Firm understanding of cryptographic concepts: symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, hash algorithms, digital signatures, etc * Experience with certificate enabled applications, such as SSL/TLS, S/MIME, Code Signing, etc. * Strong knowledge of PKI concepts, patterns and practices * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Knowledge of hardware security modules (HSMs), secure chips, and secure key storage BONUS EXPERIENCE * Familiarity with BAKOM, ZertES, VZertES, TAV, AATL, EIDI-V, GeBuV, CA/B Forum requirements * Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Certificate Services and related components * Working knowledge of Active Directory and its integration with Microsoft PKI * Strong technical writing skills * Large enterprise IT consulting, administration, or support experience * Knowledge of developing against REST and SOAP APIs * Understanding of certificate setup for EAP and PEAP Wi-Fi solutions * Hands on experience with setting up certificates on routers, load balancers, SSL inspection devices and web services like Microsoft IIS, Apache and Tomcat * Hands on experience with signing applications using code signing certificates * Hands on experience with hardware security modules (HSMs), setup and deployment, redundant HSM setup for high availability ABOUT DIGICERT DigiCert is a leading provider of scalable security solutions for a connected world.
