R&D Engineer (Robotics - Mechatronics, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering) Based: Gospel Oak, London Start date: ASAP * Are you an experienced R&D engineer with an interest/passion for robotics and mechatronics experience? * Would you like to be a key member of the R&D team at the forefront of robotics tech? * And are you based in London or can commute to Camden with ease? If you're looking for a huge company with loads of structure, then this role is not the right one for you. For our new R&D Engineer role, you would be joining a very well established and growing Research and Development team made up of both electronics and mechanical engineers. Your skills and experience will show many of the following: * Electro-mechanical systems / mechatronics * Medium volume complex system manufacture * Volume manufacturing processes e.g. injection moulding * Producing excellent documentation * Outsourcing * Additive manufacturing * Working with suppliers and manufacturers to optimise products * Specifying components * QA/QC processes * Knowledge of engineering drawings/tolerances/engineering specifications * Ideally tonnes of mechanical and electronics engineering for technical and innovative tech We'd also love to the new R&D Engineer to display the following: * Curiosity * Team player * Maturity in your role as it is autonomous and reports directly into senior management * Growth mindset and the desire to continually learn This role is not suited to a recent graduate due to the level of expertise needed to get up to speed with the R&D requirements of the role, however, we may have future opportunities for less experienced people within the team. Salary: 32,000 to 40,000 Package includes 36 (thirty-six) days holiday, share options, flexible hours (Monday to Friday) together with a fantastic team and work environment in North London (30 mins by Tube from Kings Cross).
