Job Description

We have a fantastic part-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Assistant to join our highly skilled team. Initially working from home, the role would suit someone who can undertake 25hrs per week, on a flexible basis. We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team in supporting our day-to-day transactions, including expenses and payroll. The successful candidate will be part of a small team who help maintain our companys financial health and ensure we use our resources beneficially. Core duties will include: * Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions * Prepare balance sheets * Track and reconcile bank statements * Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs) * Support monthly payroll and keep organized records * Record accounts payable and accounts receivable * Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed * Participate in quarterly and annual audits Requirements * Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or similar role * Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures * Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions) * Familiarity with accounting software * Organisational and time-management skills * Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors * BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics * Future, occasional working in an office environment maybe required.
