Applied Psychologist/Psychological Therapist Adult Eating Disorders Band 7 1 Full-time post 37.5hrs & 1 part time post 22.5 hrs per week Lothian Eating Disorders Service Cullen Centre Royal Edinburgh Hospital The Lothian Eating Disorders Service is a well established multi disciplinary outpatient and community Eating Disorders Service. The service is based in the Royal Edinburgh Hospital but there are also opportunities for satellite clinics throughout Lothian and to become involved in community based work and inpatient liaison. The service supports patients with a wide range of eating disorder presentations and offers interventions from guided self help to high intensity psychological therapy for those with complex needs. The post-holder(s) primary focus will be to provide individual formal psychological therapies but there are also opportunities for group and family work, providing supervision, contributing to audit and evaluation and broader service development. A specific interest in and experience with the specialty will be most welcome but we are also committed to providing the training and supervision required for post holders to develop and progress within the specialty. This post is being advertised for Applied Psychologists/Psychological Therapists and we will also consider applications from Clinical Associates in Psychological Therapy. We will adapt the post-holder(s) Job and Continuing Professional Development Plan to fit individuals with different core trainings.
