If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post. We are looking for a resourceful and experienced Healthcare Chaplain to join our Spiritual Care team to help take forward our vision for Spiritual Care in NHS Lothian. You will join the team of chaplains serving the spiritual care needs of people experiencing mental ill health, their families, and staff. You will share responsibility for the delivery of Spiritual Care in hospital and community settings. As a Healthcare Chaplain you will work as part of the NHS Lothian Spiritual Care Service. On-call work, out of hours, will be required by this post. You will be educated to post-graduate level in a relevant subject with proven experience in delivering spiritual care.
