" Bobby Moore is now recruiting for a Academy Operations Manager. This is a important and high profile role to support both Central School Operations Team and Academy Senior Leadership Team. The role holder will be responsible for leading the implementation and compliance of non-educational functions of the Academy. Candidates must have significant experience of working in a senior administrative role, experience of maintenance, facilities, managing finance, HR and staff management. Candidates will have sound knowledge of compliance and health and safety requirements associated with a school environment plus significant and demonstrable financial competence. The ability to both lead and develop, and work as part of a team, is crucial, and candidates will be comfortable with providing advice and good counsel to senior staff, speaking in meetings and taking an operational lead on matters. About our Academy The Bobby Moore Academy offers a world-class education for the children of East London. With an iconic integrated 4-18 site adjacent to the Olympic Stadium, we opened our doors to our very first cohort of year 7 students in September 2017. The school has quickly established a strong reputation for excellent pastoral care, behaviour for learning and our pupil's high standards of uniform, manners and conduct. You will be able to work under your own initiative and successfully deal with the demands of a geographically disperse team. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast paced and varied environment and have strong planning and people management skills and experience, with the desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have extensive experience of delivering outstanding customer service and possess the ability to develop relationships across our school and Trust. You will have: GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Mathematics Previous experience of working in a operational demanding role, experience of working within a multi-site organisation would be an advantage Experience in financial, HR, compliance, maintenance and facilities operations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate well to a wider range of stakeholders. Experience of contractor management and experience of procurement and tender management would be an advantage.
