Job Description

EMEA Tax Accountant - 14 months FTC (fixed term contract) Location - Reading, Berkshire The Role: The EMEA Tax Accountant will be part of the EMEA finance team and Corp Tax and function. The Senior Tax Accountant will assist the global Tax Team and the EMEA finance team in meeting the Group's corporate tax compliance and tax reporting obligations. They will also assist with the corporate compliance for the cost plus subsidiaries in the EMEA region to ensure all corporate compliance is recorded properly and documented where it can be easily accessed. There will be the opportunity to assist with business support projects as Fortinet continues to grow and expand. Main duties/ Responsibilities: Prepare and manage EMEA Corporate Tax computations and quarterly estimated payments Assisting with VAT returns across the various EMEA entities to ensure completed in time and accurately. Prepare and maintain all corporate compliance for EMEA subsidiaries. Getting involved in the establishment of branches and subsidiaries where appropriate Assessment of Capital Allowances and Research and Development Allowances Managing the compliance calendar for corporate tax and compliance across Europe Partner with the finance teams, such as fixed assets team/statutory accounts preparation, on various projects requiring tax input. Skills/experience Self-motivated and autonomous Effective project management and task prioritisation skills Accounting and/or tax qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA or equivalent) Top ten background preferred with experience of International corporate tax compliance management and preparation. Specific experience with VAT across various EMEA countries.
