Overview
A Chambers listed Legal 200 firm based in Berkshire is seeking a senior tax & trusts associate solicitor to join its reputable private client legal service in Reading. The ideal candidate for this particular opportunity will specialise in inheritance tax planning and capital gains taxation for high net-worth individuals. You will be advising clients on tax efficient solutions and will assist with more complex arrangements, including estates involving property and business interests or perhaps overseas assets. You will be adept at working with corporate referrals, managing their assets and estate planning accordingly. You will be required to go out and network and conduct marketing by raising the profile of yourself, the department and the firm generally, and also will be required to write articles for an array of the legal press. STEP qualification and/or tax qualifications would be desirable. The team is partner led and you will be working in a large team of 20 other fee earners.
