Job Description
My client are a leading player in the real estate world with major land banks in the UK, who now require a Snagging/Finishing Manager to manage the principle contractor and ultimately deliver high-end residential apartments for sale to the public. The ideal person will have a trades background and a history of delivering internal packages for a main contractor. Duties and responsibilities include: Liasing with the principle contractor Fit-Out Package Manager and their Project Director and driving them to project programme Report up the chain to the Client Side Project Director and liaise with the UK Managing Director on project progress Have a keen eye for detail and must be confident using App based snagging software, either Bluebeam or Zutec Ensuring site performance and progress meet contractual requirements, being cost effective and on time Carry out and co-ordinate site activities in conjunction with other personnel Deliver a high quality service to specification, time and cost targets Lead a team of subcontractors effectively, while managing the principle contractor and liaising with other teams to ensure the clients and company's expectations are met or exceeded Ensuring all day works sheets are checked and signed for and ensuring no corners are cut Check quality of workmanship and advise the principle contractor on any failures prior to payment Notify both the Client and Principle Contractor Project Director of any damage to existing services and rectifying a way to sort the issues at hand. For the right candidate, my client would look to pay £75k to £80k plus generous package.
