Job Description
We are currently seeking to add an Associate Portfolio Manager to join our long-established and successful junior PM program. We are specifically looking for a high potential individual to focus on macro-orientated strategies within Emerging Markets. You will have a genuine and proven interest in emerging market investment. Prior independent portfolio management experience is not a requisite but would be desirable. Principal Responsibilities: * Investment idea generation within Emerging markets * Responsible for portfolio construction and risk management across all active positions implemented * Continuous monitoring of existing investments and portfolio exposures * Regular engagement with external parties in order to remain on top of policy and market developments. * Collaborate effectively with other members of the investment team in a symbiotic manner Requirements Experience and Qualifications * Minimum 6 years experience in a relevant buy-side or sell-side role * Understanding of and strong exposure to Emerging Markets * Ability to articulate a defined and cogent investment process * Intellectual curiosity and flexibility in thinking * Humility and ability to thrive in a highly collaborative global team with a strong desire to learn from and with other investors * Comfortable taking risks within a strong risk management framework
