Job Description
1 Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist in Forensic Psychology An exciting opportunity has arisen in NELFT's Forensic Psychology Service which has recently attracted new funding to expand its clinical operation into the community and to provide an in-reach service to other inpatient wards. NELFT serves four London Boroughs (Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Havering, Barking & Dagenham). We are seeking a HCPC Registered Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologists to join our forensic psychology team. The post-holder will have experience working in forensic psychology services and will be required to work both in the community and in the inpatient services, including the Low-Secure Forensic Unit, located at Goodmayes Hospital. They will join a supportive group of enthusiastic and energetic psychologists working in the teams across NELFT to deliver a creative, evidence-based service, responsive to the needs of our service users, families and carers. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff). Priority Post - Assessment/Interview info At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham Essex High Cost Area Supplement - London This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of 3,784 to a maximum of 4,822).
