Expedia Property Content Lead - 12month maternity cover We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to join our Content team as Property Content Lead at Hotels.com's Product organisation. In this role you'll be working in the exciting world of property content, where we're passionate about helping customers find the perfect property for their stay, from hotels to vacation rentals. The person in this role will be responsible for investigating, prioritising, and implementing Property Content tests, as well as working on a number of other strategic initiatives across Expedia Group. This includes but is not limited to collaborating with Product, UX, Data science, Analytics and other teams on improving property content display, working with our central supply operations teams on content coverage and quality across media and written content, and representing Hotels.com by influencing general content strategy and resource across the business. You will work closely with a number of teams at Hotels.com and within Expedia Group, so outstanding stakeholder management, influencing, analytical and relationship building skills are a must. Responsibilities: * Lead Hotels.com Property Content for Completeness, identifying coverage gaps and opportunities (written and media), and working with Lodging Partner Services Content to resolve * Be a key contributor to the Property content Test and Learn program * Using customer behaviour insights to identify customer pain points and opportunities, solving through content initiatives * Collaborating with UX and Design teams to deliver excellent customer experiences * Representing the Hotels.com brand and content team at Expedia Group-wide prioritisation meetings * Being a subject matter expert on how backend content systems interact with front end product features * Regular competitive benchmarking to stay abreast of industry trends * Drive strategic content initiatives and thinking across Expedia Group Qualifications/requirements: * Excellent organisation/project management skills * Outstanding stakeholder management, communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to work with multiple teams across the global business * Strong ability to influence other teams * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Motivated, proactive nature * Attention to detail and ability to deliver on time * Excellent MS Excel and Powerpoint skills required, experience with Tableau/SQL/Hadoop a plus * Other language skills a plus Work experience and education Guidelines: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Experience in a travel or tech company is a plus Why join us Expedia Group recognizes our success is dependent on the success of our people.
