Job Description

Would you like to come and work in the Community nursing service in Exeter? Do you wish to work in a ever changing fast paced varied environment where there are many daily challenges? You will be responsible for working clinically to provide care delivery to patients in their own homes and clinic settings. You will also be expected to provide assessment and nursing care, advice and information to patients and carers within the home environment or other appropriate care setting. Aiming to, wherever possible, maintain patients in their own preferred place of care enabling them to maximise their independence and optimise their quality of life. We have 12 community nursing teams based within the Exeter inner city and outer rural areas. Therefore we have a variety of Community nurse posts that may include full time, part time and fixed term posts. If you have been qualified for some time, newly qualified or expecting to qualify in the next year then we would love to hear from you. We would also welcome applications from candidates who are unregistered. You would be paid at Band 4 level. You must have an Associate Practitioner or Nurse Associate qualification to be considered. Experience in community nursing is desirable for these posts but not essential as full training will be provided and the post holder will be supported to develop in the role. There will also be many opportunities to develop and progress your career.
