The Children's Ward at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHSFT is a dynamic and progressive Paediatric Department. We are highly respected for our collaboration with other departments and are known for our friendly and supportive nursing team. We are looking for a qualified Children's Nurse with recent acute nursing experience. The Royal Devon and Exeter Foundation NHS Trust have vacancies for you to work on our 45 bedded acute paediatric unit (Bramble Ward) including our Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU). You will work with inter-professional teams to provide care for children of all ages admitted to Bramble's medical/surgical inpatient areas, the high dependency unit (PHDU), paediatric assessment unit (PAU) and who attend our day care and outpatient services. You will need to be enthusiastic, competent, hard working, flexible and able to deliver optimum care to children and their families in a challenging acute setting. You will be expected to work in any area, within the Trust, where children are nursed. This may include the neonatal area on site, and Heavitree off site. Hours : 34.5 per week (maximum hours) to include internal rotation to night duty and twilight shifts.
