Job Description

Registered Nurse - Oncology Department Are you looking for a role with no night shifts and few weekends? Don't miss this opportunity to join our amazing team in Oncology delivering anti-cancer treatments and supportive therapies to thousands of patients each year. We pride ourselves in supporting and giving hope to patients and their families by providing a relaxed, friendly environment in which they can receive their treatment. We are able to signpost them to other branches of the wider team including Specialist nurses, Dieticians, Physio and Occupational therapists amongst many others when needed. We often build up special relationships with our patients and their families in this day case speciality. Nurses within our team gain experience in all aspects of giving anti-cancer therapies as well as assessment skills in identifying and treating side effects, working closely with the Consultant teams. We run an outreach service where treatments are given in community hospitals each week, and all nurses have an opportunity to be part of this from time to time. We are looking for nurses who are equally passionate about giving excellent care to patients in a busy environment and want to join our small but dedicated team in delivering that care to people whose lives have been touched by cancer.
