Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Fraud, Investigations & Regulatory Enforcement (FIRE) Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary A career in our Investigations & Fact Finding practice, within Fraud, Investigations & Regulatory Enforcement (FIRE) services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients understand where they might have vulnerabilities and develop solutions to manage the risks involved. We prevent, respond to and remediate a wide range of business threats, risks and complex issues. Our team helps businesses detect and investigate fraudulent activities or irregularities within their organisation. As part of our team, you'll help investigate issues such as corporate irregularities, whistleblower allegations, asset misappropriation, regulatory violations, patent and copyright infringement and financial reporting fraud. Job Description & Responsibilities * Role comprises client work, as well as practice development. * Run forensic assignments, including fact-finding financial and non-financial reviews, commercial disputes and anti-bribery review and remediation exercises in Hong Kong and across Asia for both local and multi-national clients. * Work as part of and responsible for teams of varying sizes according to project needs. * Responsible for staff coaching and development. Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required: * Bachelor degree or equivalent in one or more of the following preferred: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Law, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics and Mathematics or related sciences; * CICPA qualified required, prefer also holding other relevant professional qualification, e.g. Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Experience: * Seven to ten years' related working experience, including Forensics practice in other Big Fours or consulting firm, forensic accounting in financial service industry, and/or financial investigations experience; * Experience in case and project management and management of portfolio of clients; * Marketing experience an advantage; * Solid base in China accounting/taxation practices and regulations preferred. Personal Attributes: * Good business sense and commercially aware; * Strong financial and business analytical skills; * Good communication skills (Fluency in Englishand Mandarin, both spoken and written is essential). * Good interpersonal and organisation skills; * Good problem-solving and decision-making skills; * Bright team player who works effectively under pressure; * Excellent written English, including the ability to write succinct, well-structured reports; * Works hard to build and sustain relationships.
