Job Description
What's involved? The role is based in your local community. You will be placing collecting tins in various premises such as supermarkets, shopping /garden centres, cafes and then collecting the tins when they are full. This role will also involve counting and banking the money using procedures which will be explained to you by the Community Fundraiser. You will also need to keep accurate records. This role might suit you if you.... * are enthusiastic and confident with good communication skills * are friendly and approachable * are comfortable using your own initiative * have limited time and would appreciate a flexible volunteer role The impact you'll make.... You will be helping to raise valuable money which will help fund the services that we provide locally as well as universal services such as The National Dementia Helpline. The money also helps us to fund research into care for today and a cure for tomorrow and our campaigning work.
