Description At Shionogi Europe, we are a research led company with a focus on putting our patients first. We have broad portfolio of research, which through innovation and collaborative working has allowed us to develop products to successful registration. As part of our continued development pipeline, we are looking for you to have responsibility to support clinical development related activities for designated projects in the EMEA region. You will work with your colleagues in the Medical Science team to contribute to the implementation of Clinical Development Plan and provide your medical expertise to Development R&D, Regulatory and Medical Affairs for pipeline assets in early and late clinical stage and in pre-launch and launch phases. As a new position, you will work with the team to provide clinical contribution to European and Global development and execution. Your responsibilities will also include: * Provide medical oversight, writing medical reports and providing medical opinions as needed * Collaborate on the definition and review of development strategies and their delivery * As part of the cross functional team, be one of the points of contact for internal /external stakeholders * Establishment of clear clinical development actions and implementing them in a practical manner for both European and Global perspectives * Partner effectively with the Clinical Operations, Safety/Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory and Medical Affairs teams. We are looking for you to build proactive relationship and influence at all levels, with goal-oriented approach. Your experience will include: * Medical degree, with GMC registration * Medical knowledge and expertise in therapeutic areas relevant to our current development projects such as Infectious Disease, Neuroscience, Pain and Oncology. Also willing to work and explore new indications when the opportunities arise. * Ability to work across multiple projects * Clinical development experience * Working in a fast moving, complex international pharmaceutical environment.
