Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious Deputy General Manager for baresca our buzzing award winning tapas bar and restaurant in the heart of Nottingham. baresca focuses on delivering excellent freshly cooked tapas with brilliant friendly service in a fun and vibrant atmosphere. Opened in 2015 baresca forms part of our growing tapas family which includes escabeche in West Bridgford. We are Nottingham based and family-run, our small group of venues also includes Perkins Bar & Bistro and The Carriage Hall in Plumtree. As part of our front of house management team the purpose of the Deputy General Manager is to assist the General Manager to profitably manage all aspects of the venue. Working in line with our family values and operating standards the main functions of the role are to take responsibility for: * All aspects of the customer experience * The day to day management of the venue and service operations * Staff Recruitment, Development and Performance * Communication across the venue * Venue Financial Performance in line with agreed budget * Venue Marketing & Promotion * Venue legal compliance * Property & grounds management * Venue development We work alongside strong family values, which include being positive, putting the customers first, demanding and delivering high standards as well as treating everyone with respect. - if you think your values would fit with ours - we'd like to meet you.
