About Charles River Associates CRA's European Competition Practice specialises in providing economic advice on matters of competition policy and regulation. We assist firms and their legal advisors in all types of competition proceedings: firms considering merger and acquisition opportunities or involved in merger control proceedings; and firms undergoing investigations relating to cartels, restrictive commercial agreements, abuse of dominance or state aid. We also provide advice to firms involved in regulatory proceedings and sector inquiries. We offer assistance on the estimation of effects and damages in cartel cases, international arbitration and intellectual property disputes. Job Overview Applicants for senior positionsshould have extensive and relevant experience preferably in economic/antitrust consultancy, as well as a strong academic background in economics. We are always interested in applications from candidates who have relevant experience and might therefore be suitable for a more senior position within us. The basic prerequisites for such candidates are the same as for entry-level positions, in that a strong academic background in economics is essential. However, candidates should also have professional experience in economic consultancy, competition/regulatory authorities, or other employment with relevance to our areas of work. Senior candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to manage more junior colleagues and to have extensive client contact at an early stage.
