Job Description
Embedded Software Development Engineer £45,000 Chester ShortList Recruitment are looking for a talented Embedded Software Development Engineer to join an established company based in Chester. Reporting into the Technical Director, the Embedded Software Development Engineer would be responsible for the design and development of embedded software for electronic products and projects. The successful Embedded Software Development Engineer would also act as an internal source of expertise on current and future technology, and possess an excellent background in a similar role. Essential skills for the Embedded Software Development Engineer: * Proven background as a System Level Programmer * Strong embedded software experience * U-boot, Linux kernel, Android BSP development * Strong grasp of ANSI C/C++ programming * ARM architecture * X86 * Assembly language * Degree in Computing, Software Engineering or similar subject The successful Embedded Software Development Engineer will receive a competitive salary upto £45,000 (DOE) and a strong benefits package including generous annual leave allowance and free on-site parking. In addition, every other working week is condensed into 4 days to allow employees Friday off.
