Embedded Software Test Engineer

An electronics business who design and manufacture inspection devices, which are used in a variety of safety critical industry sectors require a Manual Software Test Engineer to test their latest embedded software device. For this role you should have excellent Manual Testing experience. You should also have experience testing a product or device that consists of embedded software/ firmware. In this role you will be required to take requirements, then create manual test cases, execute the tests and then document the results. You will be testing the performance of the: - Embedded software/ firmware - Communication protocols - User Interface display SKILLS REQUIRED: * Manual Testing experience of a product/ device that has Embedded Software/ Firmware * Experience testing a product/ device used in a Safety Critical industry sector e.g. Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Nuclear, Oil+Gas * Confident taking requirements, developing test cases, executing the tests and then recording the results * Fault injection testing DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: * Automated Test scripting experience (e.g. Python, LabVIEW, C#) OTHER INFORMATION: Due to CV-19 you will initially be working remotely in this role. You be required to work onsite in the Milton Keynes office when onsite working returns.
