Job Description

This Analyst position will be part of UnitedLex's Global Regulatory & Compliance Practice, delivering outstanding advisory and support services for UnitedLex's elite global clients. This role may work in a variety of areas within regulatory and compliance, such as global trade, data privacy, M&A activities and third-party risk. This is a position in a growing practice of UnitedLex and will give the right applicant to grow professionally themselves as well as within the organization. Well qualified applicants will bring a digital mindset to the table and a track record of intellectual curiosity. Responsibilities * Perform day to day functions within a client facing environment, maintaining a client-centric approach and ensuring consistent customer satisfaction. * Serve as a subject matter expert on a primary regulatory and compliance subject area, but maintain working knowledge of other areas as well. * Work on assignments to monitor activities relating to standards of conduct, and ethical relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees and the communities in which the organization is conducting its business. * Coordinate and participate with other subject matter experts on the corporation's risk management program to assess, prioritize and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks based on the Federal Sentencing Guidelines requirements. * Participate in the implementation of the corporation's comprehensive ethics, business conduct and compliance program throughout the business unit. * Assist in the preparation of communication and distribution of materials to all personnel. * Participate in creating the most appropriate methods for maintaining employee awareness of the program and pertinent laws or regulations pertaining to the organization's business. * Participate as an expert resource in the design and development of employee education and training programs regarding compliance with applicable laws, regulations and code. * Participate in preparation and presentation of periodic reports to the senior executive of the business unit, Ethics and Compliance Committee members. * Act as a technical expert on ethics and compliance projects. * Work under very general direction within a major operating unit of the corporation. Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. * UnitedLex is committed to preserving the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all the physical and electronic information assets throughout the organization. Consistent with the UnitedLex ISMS policy and the ISO 27001 standard, every employee is responsible for complying with UnitedLex information security policies and reporting all security concerns, weaknesses and breaches * Bachelor's degree required, JD preferred * 2 years' experience in a related practice area. * Close attention to detail and commitment to delivering top quality deliverables. * Ability to deal with ambiguity and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and often with tight time constraints. * Exemplary verbal and written communication skills with the ability and credibility to foster client trust and buy-in. * Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and persuade action across a matrixed organization. * Highly organized with strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities simultaneously. * A self-starter with a demonstrated ability to be flexible, innovative and adaptive. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
