Job Description

The Job: The primary responsibility of the SVP Content is to develop and refine our core product: the content powering our immersive group-gaming experience. There will be three distinct parts to the job: * Customer Focus - understanding what our customers want and need, what delights them and what irritates * Project Management - working with Programmers, Script Writers, Designers, Sound and other team members and freelancers to ensure that Content is developed on-time and on-budget * Leadership + management - own the Content experience within the company. Work with the CEO on understanding the vision for Content to be delivered, rally the team around that vision and build it into actionable plans, milestones and deliverables for each function Requirements The Work: * Develop detailed end-to-end Customer Journey, specifying each part of the Product Experience inside our PlayBox game-rooms * Understand and interpret the Playbox technology platform to innovate, creating novel game experiences * Manage team members to build high-level deliverables into detailed work plans, identify and troubleshoot issues and institute repeatable delivery models * Lead creation of Game development pipeline, managing third-party developers, Studios and staff to create best-in-class immersive games on-time, and on-budget * Build institutional knowledge of Content development principles and best-practices to continually refine and improve the development processes The Traits: * Structured thinker- able to build / adapt frameworks to develop, improve and critique novel ideas * Creative approach to Content development- bringing the best ideas from video gaming, TV, film, VR, live gaming or other areas * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; organized and attentive to detail * Leader of teams who is able to find, attract and retain the best talent * Able to solve problems and resolve conflict solo, but also know when to escalate issues * Flexible, low-ego and ready-to-work including evenings and weekends * Charismatic, enthusiastic with a proactive personality and can do approach Benefits * New and exciting concept, with an ambitious growth plan in the UK and abroad * Highly experienced Founders, Executive Team and Investors * A competitive salary and benefits package * A commitment to innovation, excellence and continuous improvement * Energetic and diverse team that enjoy the journey!
