Job Description

The Credit Portfolio Manager position is an integral part of the CCB UK Risk team, responsible for a variety of critical risk functions including Early Warning, MCA testing, Collateral Management among other portfolio management activities. More generally, the position requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in the Business area and clients. **Responsibilities:** + Contribute to the development of new Techniques, improvement of processes and workflows by applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge and integrating subject matter and industry expertise + Participate and lead when necessary the activities related to early warning, problem recognition, collateral monitoring and COC management + MCA testing and coordination + Perform post loan review exercises + Active involvement in all types of portfolio review related tasks by monitoring exceptions in relation to target market, risk acceptance criteria, concentrations, double jumps, booking vehicle governance and similar + Effectively lead multiple policy change implementation projects while providing end to end support within Risk Management Organisation and also maintenance of internal procedures such as Country Appendix, EW and collateral + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. **Knowledge/Experience:** + Experience in CCB related roles; + Strong understanding of Middle Market business in UK is preferred, + Demonstrate strong knowledge in Risk related areas and CCB Risk policies and other related policies. + Familiar with CCB risk systems and processes + Extensive years of experience in Banking and exposure to credit risk related topics + Credit officers are preferred **Skills:** + Good interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skill so that multitasking is not an issue + Proficient Risk management skills together with credit, control and project driven mind-set + Well versed in presentation skills using all applicable spreadsheet (Excel) and other office tools + Good written and spoken English + Must have unquestionable integrity and high moral standards + Ability to pay attention to details, set priorities and work under pressure in an environment that is productivity driven **Education / Qualifications:** + College or university degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
