Due to our continued growth we are currently looking for 2nd Line Systems Engineers to join our team based within our LDeX datacentre in Manchester. As a 2nd Line Systems Engineer you will be responsible for resolving a wide range of customer issues and escalating support requests where necessary to ensure that queries are resolved in line with agreed SLAs. Within the role you will also be required to complete a variety of tasks including managing and maintaining monitoring queues for both iomart and infrastructure alerts, server configuration and network support, managing back-ups, and supporting tasks in a datacentre environment. These tasks will include Cat5e/6 and Coax cable installations and testing, single mode and multi-mode fibre installation and server and rack installations.
