The opportunity: As the Associate Consultant, you will be working alongside our Senior Consultants supporting projects within Retirement Consulting team. To be successful in this role, you will have experience of dealing with occupational pension schemes (DB, DC or CARE schemes), preferable but not necessarily in the same role. The role would suit someone who has some experience of working within pensions administration who would like to transition into client facing pensions Consultant role. Purpose of the role: + Providing support to Client Executives and working closely with the Client Executive support team; + Attendance at Trustee meetings with active participation and contribution when possible; + Providing support to trustee secretary including drafting of meeting minutes and action points lists, and producing meeting packs; + Supporting client team to manage workflow and maintain action logs; + Liaising with other departments and advisers to deliver high quality service to clients; + Look to build client relationships and become the "go to" person within the client team; + Support the client team in the preparation of Trustee Report and Accounts; + Keeping clients updated of latest legislative and industry developments; + Staying abreast of applicable regulatory bodies; + Adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures (CCPs). To be successful in this role: + Experience of Pensions Administration (Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC) or CARE schemes); + Willing to study, or be studying, towards APMI status; + Able to prioritise, organise and carry out tasks within deadlines; + Good numeracy and literacy skills; + Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
