Job Description

**Role Summary:** The position demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes & technologies that meet business needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning. This role contributes to the overall strategy within Technology Development in Additive, Metrology, Digital, Manufacturing, Design and Virtual Reality. **Essential Responsibilities:** Identify, develop, evaluate, and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long-range engineering needs for new technologies across OFE Develop Skills across all Engineering Technology disciplines Drive additive manufacture activities to support and validate NPI/NTI needs; Maintain an active role in defining the state of the art in additive, digital, metrology and calibration to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to schedules and estimated costs; Effectively communicate results by preparing written reports and making presentations describing analyses performed, solutions developed, and value obtained; Identify plans to ensure technical requirements, costs, and schedules are met; Work closely with the Additive COE Leader to produce designs and running of additive machines. Provide technical guidance, direction and training to new engineers, specialists, technicians and co-ops. Held to support in the development of Technology Road map. **Qualifications/Requirements:** Degree or Heading for a Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering Confident, articulate and experienced in working at pace in a highly dynamic and fast moving business environment A good understanding of technical drawings, and ability to identify materials and assembly methods Good problem solving skills Strong IT Skills.
