Job Description

**Role Summary:** The Shift Leader position shall direct the team in a wide range of technical areas to achieve the business goals and metrics. Demonstrate leadership in communicating team goals, programs, and processes within Manufacturing. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise and the teams experience to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and meet short-term and some long-term business goals. **Essential Responsibilities:** + Provide shift leadership in to achieve goals in production, process/manufacturing lossimprovement, delivered quality, delivery and cost reduction + Drive HSE objectives to meet site targets and ensure a strong culture of HSE is maintained. + Perform administrative duties in a timely manner, including time and attendance, absencereviews and management/permitting of contractors. + Inform employees of business goals and objectives. Initiate an open communication pattern topromote exchange of ideas with employees, peers, and upper management. Conduct weeklyBriefing. + Develop and maintain a positive work climate. + Direct process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellencethroughout the organization to improve Safety, Quality and productivity. Ie. NIKE/YESS. + Advocate Lean/ Six Sigma rigors and champion continual improvement. + Be part of the selection process for new hires and Train and develop staff and provideongoing leadership and direction. + Interface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time. + Provide ongoing support in scheduling resources, technical leadership and facilitating the flowof hardware to meet customer requirements + Provide technical, quality and production leadership to assigned Cells / Teams + Support cell leader in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment and other resources + Champion a high standard of housekeeping throughout factory **Qualifications/Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED withexperience in a manufacturing role) + Additional experience in a manufacturing leadership role. + Applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and willbe considered alongside all other applications.
