Minimum qualifications: + Experience managing technical projects within the infrastructure and cloud domains. + Customer-facing experience in the enterprise space. + Experience presenting to C-Suite and Board level audiences. + Ability to travel 30% of the time. Preferred qualifications: + Customer-facing experience in the enterprise space, especially in translating customer needs into solutions. + Experience in strategy and business development + Experience in and understanding of data and information management - especially as it relates to retail and consumer based businesses. + Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal + Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space. As a Staff Solutions Consultant, you bring experience and thought leadership to help set vision, mission, and strategy. You will meet with strategic Google Cloud Retail and Consumer Products customers to facilitate business transformation and map success patterns. You'll leverage your cloud computing expertise along with hands-on experience in the Retail and consumer industries, packaging together the full scope of Google Cloud horizontal and vertical specific products to create compelling solution offerings for our Retail customers. In this role, you will have a deep partnership with the Product teams on integration strategy. You will showcase thought leadership by identifying and parsing industry trends in cloud computing to recommend, plan for, and address core market opportunities with new solutions and use cases. You will help ensure technical and commercial readiness of these solutions, including assets to enable the go-to-market teams, and provide field feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to help shape product direction. Finally, you will set KPI and measurements for solutions adoption, and recommend ways to adapt as the market and customer needs change. The Solutions Engineering organization in Google Cloud drives the definition, business development, asset creation, enablement, and rollout of industry solutions. And our teams are dedicated to helping our customers and developers see the benefits of our technology come to life. + Help reflect the voice of the field to influence a data-driven vision and direction for Solutions and Use Case Definition at Google Cloud. + Oversee delivery of published materials across the complete portfolio of Google Cloud solutions and use cases. + Partner closely with Engineering directors, Product leaders, sales strategy, and executive leadership to ensure solutions alignment with engineering, product priorities, and go-to-market priorities. + Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required (30%) Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
