Additional Responsibilities * Facilitate and coach Specialists in the preparation of basic to complex corporate, personal, partnership and trust returns * Perform detailed technical reviews to ensure accuracy * Supervise the day-to-day work of the Specialists, encourages productivity and performance improvement and provides clear expectations on output and quality * Support staff development by identifying skill gaps; works with Learning & Development in the development/facilitation of technical training * Assist in monitoring workflow and workload to ensure fair allocation, when required * Assist in the recruitment of new Specialists * Acts as the key contact for Client Relationship teams in national PwC offices * Other tasks & responsibilities as assigned Requirements * A strong technical tax background as a result of 5+ years of experience in Canadian Tax compliance (corporate and personal) in a professional services firm or relevant industry experience * CPA (CA, CGA OR CMA) designation would be considered an asset * Computer software knowledge (Excel, Caseware, Tax Prep) * Strong leadership skills as a result of 2+ years of experience coaching/managing a team and are comfortable delivering performance feedback * Passion for excellent customer service * Exceptional analytical capability is critical; you are able to apply the necessary judgment to ask questions, provide immediate feedback and assess issues as they arise * Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills with a proven ability to interact successfully with clients and co-workers at all levels, you adjust based on your audience * Good project management skills and ability to prioritize * Accuracy and attention to detail * Bilingualism in French would be considered an asset Why you'll love working for PwC We want you to love every (if not, almost every) minute of your career, having said this, we get it.
