Line of Service Tax Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism General Tax Consulting Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary A career in our Tax Accounting practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. Our team provides our clients with customised tax solutions and tax accounting advice based on their niche and business need. You'll support the team with deferred tax validation projects, remediation and restatement, tax basis balance sheets and financial statement carve out preparation. As a ( Senior) Accounting Manager, you will have a key role in providing accountancy and tax-related services to a portfolio of international and local clients. Together with a team of qualified professionals, you will assist your clients in setting up and structuring their accounting organisation and you will propose solutions for optimising your clients' financial and tax-related reporting. You also constantly keep an eye out for possible issues and opportunities that are relevant for them. This will often involve close collaboration with our other specialised departments. You will lead a team in order to deliver results in a responsible, authentic and passionate manner. You will also work in close cooperation with colleagues specialised in Tax Consulting, Audit and Business Advisory. Qualifications: You have: * a master's or bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Taxation or a master's degree in (Applied) Economic Sciences or Commercial Sciences. The title of Accountant or Tax Consultant, additional qualifications in tax, a feeling for IT and knowledge of International GAAP (IFRS/US) are valuable assets. * at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role or organisation * a sound understanding of general accounting procedures * a good knowledge of MS Office applications and any accounting software * fluent language skills in French, English and Dutch Our offer: In addition to a competitive salary, supplemented with attractive fringe benefits, we offer you a multidisciplinary environment with challenging career prospects, continual education and on-the-job training.
