Your role As a Manager in our Artificial Intelligence and Data Science team in our Financial Services (FS) Risk Analytics function, you will: Be familiar with the trends, challenges and opportunities on new risks and ethical considerations introduced by AI and machine learning to the financial services sector. Take an active role in designing, configuring and delivering products and services for clients to help them manage the new risks of AI. Lead a delivery team to develop products and accelerators related to risks of AI Coordinate with diverse internal and global teams across regulatory strategy, technology risk, and model validation Actively manage eminence activities, including speaking at conferences, managing publications, client roundtables, and workshops Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Please speak to your recruiter about the working pattern that works best for you. Location: Your office will be based in London, but most of your time will be spent on client site. Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. Your professional experience Knowledge of Financial Services sector and Artificial Intelligence as well as an understanding of the key risks, trends, pressures, regulations and opportunities. This could be gained from, but not necessarily limited to, roles in academia, professional services or industry. Proven ability to deliver complex data analytics and machine learning projects. Strong planning, organisation and people management skills. Experience delivering business projects that relate to one or more of the following areas: o Data Strategy o Data Governance o Big Data o Analytical Modelling o Artificial Intelligence Data analytics experience. Familiarity and competency with some of the key tools used in information management and data analytics. For example: o Information management tools (e.g. SQL) o Visualization tools (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau) o Data science (e.g. R, Python, SAS) o Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform) Exceptional communication, presentation and business writing skills including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts. Demonstrated experience developing and managing client relationships. Additional Desirable Experience Previous industry experience with AI and its ethical implications PhD degree in a scientific subject (Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent and/or relevant professional qualification and/or significant relevant consulting/industry expertise.
