Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism IFS - Clients & Markets Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You'll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC's brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace. Our Marketing and Public Relations team is responsible for PwC's external media relations and social media strategy. As part of our team, you'll help with social media account management, media relationship management, and identifying new and emerging opportunities for the Firm. Job Description & Responsibilities You will be the 2nd hand of the Communications team lead within the Marketing & Communications department in Mainland China to support the Marketing Communications and PR initiatives. Responsibilities: * Assist the Communications Team Director to lead the Communications teams across Mainland China and Hong Kong offices * To develop and implement communications strategies to strengthen the firm's positioning, share of voice and brand equity with distinctiveness in the region * Lead the team to develop communications plans and initiatives with key messages and align with business * Lead the team to develop leadership speeches and presentations with insights * Lead the firm's Executive Profiling Programme to enhance credibility and influence in the market * Build and establish strong network and effective relationships with media (both traditional and new media), chambers, and business associations. Identify opportunities of cooperation to create synergy * Co-lead crisis communications, support the engagement teams and provide media solutions to the management with speed and efficiency * Work with the team to support business exposure including internal stakeholders in various lines of service and industries * Conduct and coach the team to implement communications executions on a daily basis Requirements: * Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Marketing * Minimum of 12 years in Communications field * Corporate communications experience is preferred * Prior experiences in B2B, financial, or professional service industries will be a plus * Ability to craft communication angles and news releases with clear messages to the public * Planning capability of large scale PR events or campaigns * Experience in establishing and managing relationship with media channels, both traditional and new media * Experience managing team and PR agency * Strong leadership skills, able to lead and collaborate in a multicultural environment * Excellent written and verbal English & Chinese.
