We are currently recruiting Full Time Support Workers to join our team in Lindfield, Haywards Heath! We are looking for highly motivated Support Workers who want to make a difference to support people with Autism. Whilst working for us, you will receive ongoing support and supervision. We want to make sure you'll have the skills and knowledge you need to do a great job. We want you to go home at the end of your shift, knowing you have made a positive difference to our service users' lives. About Us: Located in Lindfield, West Sussex, Hollyrood is set in beautiful landscape grounds. It compromises four houses and a flat on one site, and two four-bedroom community houses. At Hollyrood, we provide support and accommodation for 25 adults, aged over 18, who have been diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, or have autistic tendencies. We also support individuals with challenging behaviours and those with epilepsy. What's the job like? Our staff teams support our service users in their day to day activities, both in their home environments and in the community. For example, you might support an individual with his/her personal care routine, in planning and doing leisure and pleasure activities, hobbies and interests, and independent living activities. Some of our service users have behaviours that may challenge at times, so our staff teams need good communication skills, patience and flexibility. Reasonable IT and time management skills are also key in delivering our service. You'll help to ensure our service users are safe through assessing risks in everyday life: full training and support will be provided in all aspects of this role.
