Support Workers Ref: LDS/1035 £18,184 - £18,477 per annum (part time pro-rata) Huddersfield - Oxfield Court, Dalton Various hours available and casual work available* (shifts may include waking nights, days, weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays) (The initial hourly rate during probation will be £9.30p/h increasing to £9.45p/h upon passing probation) We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our team at Oxfield Court Nursing Service. We provide Nursing care for clients with physical disabilities and learning disabilities, some of whom present with challenging behaviours. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake all aspects of personal care, be able to perform moving and handling techniques and support clients with leisure activities at home and in the local community. The role involves aspects of paperwork including updating of support plans, risk assessments and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). Knowledge of current best practice and legislation in this area is desirable. No qualifications are necessary, however the successful applicant will be required to complete the Care Certificate qualification if they do not already possess this (or an equivalent).
