The main purpose of the role is to Support Senior Client Specialists, Senior Broker or Technical Manager and team in the efficient delivery of all market, client (and network) facing activity within scope of responsibility. About the Role Thought Leadership * Start building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best of Aon and the GBC are brought to clients and prospective clients * Identify and develop responsibilities for supporting the talent excellence agenda and the apportioned regulatory risks * Act as a representative of Aon, the GBC and the business to the market, clients and the network. People & Culture * Act as a role model of AIM and as an ambassador of the GBC * Ensure own objectives are aligned with the overall business strategy, striving for high performance and taking any necessary action to continually to develop capability within role. * Adhere to performance management and training and competence processes within the team and that actions arising from these processes are implemented in a timely manner. * Adhere to all HR processes and dates * Working with the team, develop an awareness of the sales and service culture and contribute to this through continuous personal and professional development. Business Performance * Predominantly Follow market broking * Occasional Firm Order broking (Ebix / wet stamps / email) Client / Network Engagement * Ensure the Client is at the heart of all activity and that they are treated fairly and ethically * Champion the deployment of Client Promise for direct client, ensuring that work is delivered to agreed timelines * Ensure network/clients receive best in class service in a cost-effective manner * Present terms to client / network * Client relationship management (direct clients and/or network) * Client meetings * Assist with benchmarking and placement advice to clients * Market relationship management * Assist with technical wording advice to client/network Placement & Systems Management * Responsible for file maintenance - ECM * Send initial engagement to client/network * Support on the Review / Creation / Enhancement of Submission * Send Cover confirmation to client/network * Review draft / final MRC * Responsible for recording of broking activity in market sheets * Responsible for final slip indexing * Complete quote/firm order information in Brokasure including finalising MRC * Provide invoicing instructions and occasionally issuing invoice to client, supporting on A/C queries * Support with SPS design / placement Aon Growth Strategy * Contribute to the development and implement the Aon Broking strategy by supporting growth through utilisation of specialty, broking, technology and talent levers. * Support the Senior Brokers in the development of broking business priorities and plans * Work with key internal and external stakeholders to identify and secure potential clients * Work collaboratively with Senior Broker, CCO and CBO on RFP/Tender and other major client opportunities * Identify and develop opportunities for cross Aon Limited co-operation and synergies * Support the establishment and management of pipeline * Support defining of marketing strategy (specific to placement) Compliance & Risk Management * Ensure all FCA regulations and internal compliance requirements are adhered to in a timely manner * Promote all compliance related requirements in the team and identify opportunities for process improvement. * Ensure all agreed practices and tools are actively and consistently applied. * Encourage team col
