Job description: The Mid-Weight Designer's role will be to interpret and creatively implement brand guidelines across a diverse portfolio of print and digital projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, with experience of juggling multiple projects and working to tight deadlines. The role requires a dynamic, thorough and enquiring approach. Fitting in as part of a wider creative team, the ability to collaborate effectively is also a must. Responsibilities: * Create and deliver projects/artwork to briefs and a variety of brand guidelines * Be comfortable with a multi-disciplined approach to create appropriate solutions for data visualisation, infographics and editorial design * Manage own workflow making sure processes are adhered to * Create new design templates as needed * A portfolio showcasing evidence of a finely-tuned eye for detail, typography and editorial design is essential. * Proven ability to think creatively and articulate ideas, visualise them and apply them to numerous print and digital outputs. * Experience in data visualisation and infographic development * Expert knowledge of Adobe Cloud applications, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop * Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint would be an advantage * Eager-to-help team player, who is resourceful and organised, with an 'on it' attitude Skills & Requirements: * Design collateral in accordance with internal and external requirements, which includes thought leadership research, client newsletters, and event literature ensuring all outputs conform with brand guidelines and meet quality standards * Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; in particular InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (knowledge of digital would be beneficial) * Ability to work on multiple projects from original concept through to completion within brand guidelines and using existing templates * Have an eye for producing good quality work, have strong attention to detail and the desire to learn and develop * A desire to develop and keep up with design trends, bringing contemporary design solutions to corporate communications * Ability to work towards tight deadlines * Keen, enthusiastic and a flexible attitude * Ability to work within a team environment and be a team player * A strong portfolio that show skills and strength Nice to have: * Knowledge of Adobe After Effects What's in it for you: * 25 days paid leave + local Bank Holidays * London office with stunning roof terrace, great communal areas and a very modern space * Private Healthcare * Company Pension Scheme * Employee Assistance Program/ Save as you Learn Scheme * Employee Social club * Pool Table/Subsidised Gym/Other Staff Discounts and more If you are interested in this position, please click on 'Apply Here'.
