What will I be doing? Job Description Finance Assistant 39 Hours per week/ Monday to Friday A Finance Assistant will work as part of a small team to support the finance department in maintaining records, producing reports and operating efficient financial controls. The main areas of responsibility are Debtors and Purchase Ledger. What will I be doing? Daily business control - opening and distributing mail and ensure all mail is date stamped and sorted and matched off with any previous documentation. Ensure all customer queries are completed daily and responded to in a good timely manner. Debtors Ledger - to assist the Finance Managers in the control of Maintenance Fee debtors and to ensure the correct Debt Collection procedures are in place. DBS/WBS (Daily and Weekly Banking Summary) - to ensure that all payments received are sorted and accurately recorded for the correct resort daily. Purchase Ledger - Responsible for the processing of all purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices and credit notes and the payment of all invoices for HGV and the HOA's in line with company authorisation procedure. To ensure that all Sale files have been assessed, that all debts of previous owners have been paid and New Owners receive their Maintenance fee invoice. Check all Rental and Resale cheques match the master cheque spreadsheet and ensure that all cheques are in number sequence and sent to banking on a weekly basis for input to Peoplesoft.
