OVERVIEW The Director of Calypso Front Office, reporting to the Global Head of Product Management, will be the product leader for Calypso's Front Office product offering to a diverse client base. The Director will lead all Front Office product related activities and work closely with the senior leadership team to drive overall product strategy and implement new Front Office solutions that enable profitable growth. This leader will be responsible for delivering highly effective, creative, and regulatory compliant product solutions for Calypso's Front Office client base. The Director will bring a deep understanding of Calypso clients and use these insights to provide differentiated product solutions which address clients' needs. S/he will think innovatively and provide direction to the functional product managers and engineering teams on strategy, design, and execution. Being accountable for what is produced will be imperative; having a detail-oriented perspective on requirements and a deep intellectual curiosity as to how things work and why, along with an ability to streamline will be critical. In this leadership role, developing a strong partnership with the Global Head of PM, Global Head of Engineering Regional Sales MDs, along with other senior leaders (e.g. CPEO) will be essential. Reports to: Global Head of Product Management Organization: 5+ direct reports KEY RELATIONSHIPS Head of Engineering Head of Financial Engineering Head of QA Head of Market Strategy Sales MDs Head of Marketing Head(s) of Customer Delivery Head of Customer Success Chief Product and Engineering Officer (CPEO) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Product Leadership -Drive the Calypso strategy and roadmap for Front Office Products; effectively determine the business requirements for our existing and future Calypso Front Office solutions. -Manage and Mentor a team of product professionals to define and prioritize front office solutions that provide measurable value to Calypso's clients while also addressing dependencies with other functional streams (e.g. Middle and Back office). -Provide direction and mentor a dedicated team of R&D professionals (Development, Financial Engineering, and QA) who will implement Front Office solutions -Build effective processes and metrics for success; facilitate standards for the Calypso Front Office roadmap in line with the overall Calypso Product Roadmap and direction of the organization. -Work closely with the senior management team to ensure that development plans, resources, and customer delivery strategies are coordinated in a cohesive fashion. -Provide facts-based competitive analysis to ensure that offerings provide superior capabilities when compared to the competition and are meeting and anticipating the needs of the customer. -Champion the importance of innovation and creativity to ensure future competitive advantage. Product Design, Development & Go-To-Market Delivery -Identify product requirements (including build, buy and partner decisions) and develop Front Office management solutions that offer an outstanding client experience leveraging a deep understanding of client requirements including broader regulatory requirements such as Libor Reform. - Manage the development of business requirements and user stories to allow functional product teams to create product specifications, including the trade-offs among features, user experience, and performance. -Provide insights into clients' needs and understand exactly how they will use Front Office solutions within their workflow. -Collaborate with the sales, service and on-boarding teams to help drive each team's success working with their clients. - Collaborate with the Head of Market Strategy and Marketing to ensure that Go-to-Market (GTM) plans and delivery for Front Office solutions is appropriately defined and executed -Act as a senior product advocate in client meetings to support Sales and Market Strategy to achieve commercial revenue targets. Product Implementation -Support the development product implementation methods, effectively integrate Calypso Front Office solutions into the workflow of an organization or end-user. -Ensure internal training of Sales, Customer Delivery, and Support teams covering all of Calypso's Front Office solutions - Implement improvements and collaborate with colleagues to maximize end-to-end integration, e
