Maintenance Engineer The job role of Maintenance Engineer: SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden is a fast paced fine-dining operation, offering the most superior cuisine and dining experience to our guest. The Maintenance Engineer at SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden is a key role for the smooth operation of our restaurant. Key Responsibilities for Maintenance Engineer: + Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns + Performs and/or monitors reactive maintenance, planned works and PPM + Responds to all building related safety concerns + Maintains departmental compliance with company maintenance procedures + Supports company departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists. + Assists in the supervision of temporary maintenance contractors + Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations + Maintain all areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained site + Must possess knowledgeable of basic hand/power tool operation Core Skills and Requirements for Maintenance Engineer: + Previous restaurant or hotel maintenance department experience + At least 1 year experience in a similar capacity + Should have basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry concepts + Must be available to respond to emergencies when not physically at the job site Our benefits package: At SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden we like to ensure each of our employees are rewarded for all their commitment and dedication at work, benefits include: + Highly competitive salary + Constant training and career development + Complimentary staff meals during shifts + 50% discount to use in all OBM restaurants - SUSHISAMBA London and Duck & Waffle restaurants + 28 day's holiday allowance + Pension Scheme - including employer contributions + 'Refer-a-friend' cash incentive scheme + Employee of the month rewards + Unlimited access to some of the best views of the London skyline Job ID: 2019-1281 Address Line 1: 110 Bishopgate Post End Date: 26/07/2019
