Mobile A/C Engineer - Covering: London based from Judd Street (NW1) 28,900 - 39,100 depending on skills and qualifications (+ van and fuel card) 40 hours per week, 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday We are BT Facilities Services, we are part of the BT Group of companies and we specialise in the facilities management industry. Our brilliant team provide a full range of building maintenance services to 7,000 BT buildings in the UK, the estate varies from commercial offices, telephone exchanges, data centres and retail shops We have an exciting opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join the team. This is a mobile role where you will carry out maintenance, fault finding, repair and small installation work on all gas heating systems as directed by the Facilities Manager across various BT buildings in London Main duties will include... * Maintain all Air conditioning equipment and assist with all other PPM routines on site * Diagnose faults on equipment and repair as necessary using manufacturers manuals and drawings as required * Liaise with the Facilities Service Manager and Workflow Helpdesk for both demand and planned maintenance tasks and respond to other requests as necessary * Undertake risk assessments for reactive and pre-planned maintenance to ensure safe working practice * Report any mechanical/electrical problems affecting the day-to-day operations to the Technical Supervisor * Ensure Site Activity Log Books are completed in a timely and accurate manner and are maintained in accordance with procedures * Produce monthly and ad-hoc reports as required for the Manager * Participate in an Emergency Call Out Service as required in accordance with the Out of Hours Rota * Other relevant duties consistent with the general requirements of BT Facilities Services technical delivery as directed by line management * Follow BT Facilities Services procedures and routines correctly to make sure that their work is in line with the environmental policy and support the business in achieving its environmental objectives. Successful candidates should ideally hold a recognised engineering apprenticeship in AC, and proven experience as a refrigeration biased maintenance engineer with an NVQ level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. F Gas qualified is essential.
