Much of this innovation can be protected under patent laws, and there is a strong need to add the right person to our team who will help engineers explain their inventions, create invention disclosure statements, and work with patent counsel to quickly prepare patent applications for filing and shepherd them through the prosecution process. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for generating new leads and building a pipeline of opportunities for the Aeris Connectivity business. Primary responsibilities include: outbound prospecting, pre-qualifying and qualification and managing of small and medium enterprise (SME) accounts. The position reports to the Internal Sales Team Lead MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The ISR will be responsible for generating new leads in a specified territory. The focus of this position will be on lead generation and qualification. Sales, contracting and relationship management for new accounts. The specific responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to: + Lead Generation + Place outbound prospecting calls and e-mails from campaign lead sources or through individual research. + Field inbound phone calls and e-mail based inquiries for more information. + Pre-qualify all leads and distribute accordingly to direct and indirect sales teams for further qualification. + Educate prospects on the benefits of Aeris Connectivity services. + Effectively manage daily / monthly activities including call volume, pipeline / forecasting and quota goals. + Follow up with direct and indirect sales teams to ensure lead hand-off is successful. + Account Management: + Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail cross-sell and up-sell. + Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales. + Coordinate customer training as necessary. + Generate qoutes based on customer requirements. + Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues. + Other: + Provide regular reports in a timely manner, including weekly activity report, monthly sales forecast, visit reports, market maps and other reports as required by VP of Sales + Leverage CRM system t manage all customer contact. Track and manage a qualified pipeline of leads, opportunities, and contacts using Company?s CRM tool. + Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events. + Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis to meet the overall objectives of the Sales Department or Company. BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate has worked in the M2M industry or a wireless network sales position. Candidate must be a go-getter who refuses to lose. Minimum requirements include: + College degree and / or equivalent in sales experience. + Good communication skills and ability to work in a team atmosphere. + Proficient computer skills including CRM systems. + Sales training / experience in a needs-based selling approach. Additional requirements include: + Must convey strong customer commitment, and have a proven history in excelling in a fast-paced, professional environment. + Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management. + Ability to interview and train new hires as needed. + Exceptional work ethic. Uses time productively, is focused on right opportunities, maximizes efficiency, and meets challenging work goals. + Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences. + Must be able to work effectively without close supervision and function as a member of a team of professionals. + Proficient end-user IT skills including MS Office and Outlook. + Ability to lead and motivate an Inside Sales Team. + Discretion, common sense and attention to detail are a must. + Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems and situations and recommend solutions.
