Job Description

This position has responsibility for the testing of the FNZ's platform. This includes working both independently and within a team to analyse, determine, execute and manage internal testing requirements as well as working with analyst to determine any new testing requirements, and manage the testing process. It also involves working with IT developers and analysts to ensure that testing specifications are delivered to the highest quality. The specific role responsibilites are: + Work with developers, testers and analysts to implement and execute strategies that ensure software satisfies the business requirements and is delivered to the highest quality; + Discuss, understand and document testing requirements with internal stakeholders + Ensure compliance against FNZ processes + Planning, documenting and managing Project test activities + Generate clear and concise summaries on defects, communicate these defects to developers as well as manage and review the defect resolution process; + Proactively develop, document and maintain internal testing processes and procedures; + Identify areas for test automation and develop automated test scripts as required; + Ensure Test artefacts are stored and maintained in FNZ Test repository + Proactively manage changes to testing requirements; + Proactively communicate with all parties to ensure they understand the current stage of testing activities; + Coordinate live releases and complete post-implementation testing; + Other related duties as required from time to time. + This role is in scope for activities which have an indirect impact on CASS processing which takes place within FNZ for FNZ and/or FNZ's clients. This role has a requirement to remain up to date with CASS developments and changes as communicated with FNZ. + High attention to detail; + English on communicative level; + Knowledge of principles of HTML and SQL; + Experience/Knowledge in Selenium IDE or other automation tool would be an advantage; + Analytical thinking, good communication and time management skills; + Familiarity with financial products and markets would be an advantage; + Confident, able to apply a structured approach; + Ideally educated to graduate level.
