Job Description

The Position The AVP, Finance, Data & HR Analytics manager is responsible for ensuring the sound operational management of HR finances, the management of all people data, analytics and reporting across the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for liaising with Arch Capital Group ("ACG") to ensure that all data and reporting requirements are met in line with policies and processes, ensuring that all Group requirements are complied with and providing input and insight on behalf of Arch Insurance International particularly with regard to HRIS and reporting. The AVP, Finance, Data & Analytics will lead and managed a team responsible for the service delivery of recruitment, performance and reward, payroll and data analytics. You will be accountable for the delivery of timely and accurate MI and reporting analytics and be the key person for local management of HRIS and will liaise with and provide input to Arch Capital Group global HRIS programmes The AVP, Finance, Data & Analytics will ensure that the HR Business Partners are appropriately supported in the delivery of their roles and ensure that the service delivered to the business is efficient and effective. Job Responsibilities * Lead, manage and develop the HR Service Delivery team * Lead the implementation and management of local HRIS and ensure that ACG global HRIS are deployed effectively with Arch Insurance International * Develop, deploy and maintain standard operating procedures across all aspects of the employee lifecycle * Oversee and deliver regular Board and Management reporting ensuring the CHRO receives these in a timely manner * Ensure the HR Business Partners are aware of all ACG led HR change programmes and that they are prepared to brief and support the business with this * Develop, deploy and keep under regular review the governance arrangements for the HR function. Agree with the CHRO the RACI which supports this and ensure that all members of the HR team, including the HR Business Partners understand and adhere to this * Ensure that all specialists within the HR team are appropriately managed and developed * Ensure that the HR function is managed to budget, participating in annual and ad hoc budget builds and maintaining MTD and YTD tracking of this. Provide relevant data on the cost benefit of all HR programmes and be able to track people costs including cost per seat metrics. Required Skills/Experience Strong finance or analytics background Understanding of the successful deployment of HR Service Delivery team Worked within a Financial Services firm, ideally London Market Implementation and management of Workday or a similar Cloud HR solution (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Ultimate Software) Management and development of teams of HR specialists Desired Skills/Experience Strong finance or analytics background Understanding of the successful deployment of HR Service Delivery team Worked within a Financial Services firm, ideally London Market Implementation and management of Workday or a similar Cloud HR solution (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Ultimate Software) Management and development of teams of HR specialists Education Chartered Accountant or strong equivalent experience Advance Excel, PowerBI, R or related data analysis packages HR / CIPD qualifications highly advantageous
